The Foehn is a dry and hot wind, from the south, well known in our alpine mountains. Indeed, it blows mainly in the mountainous massifs and in particular in the North of the Alps: in France, in Switzerland, in Italy and in Austria.
For the little anecdote, our Swiss friends call a hair dryer a “foehn”… always this hot wind story.
So why Foehn?
Because it's fast, simple, precise, concise, just the way we like it. Plus, it's multi-lingual! And above all, we love the Foehn/Fun pun.
